IndieLab is a place where we experiment with different ways of supporting independent artists and their music. We setup websites, help with branding, offer advice on digital strategies, help people create business plans for their work, try new ways of using social media to disseminate new music, mentor creative people and generally just try and be supportive and encouraging to projects that excite us.
When we get things right and an idea works then we try and share that with other people so they can make use of it. When we get things wrong, we also try and share it so that other people don’t need to make the same mistake. After all, we all metaphorically have that box of unsold T-shirts under the bed that try as we might we just can’t shift. This website isn’t meant to be about building empires but instead building an open source resource for independent musicians and their work.
